What Rochester Hills homeowners call us for most

Rochester Hills repairs and upgrades grounded in the existing system
The Rochester Hills reviews include a service upgrade, an EV charger installation, and several lighting projects. They offer a more specific picture than a general claim about electrical service: homeowners mention communication, fixture replacement, and adding wall sconces. Your project may follow a different path. A panel assessment or charger plan needs its own review of capacity, wiring route, and permit requirements before installation is scheduled.

Upgraded an old 100A fuse box to a 150A service. New mast, service, ground wires, everything. They were efficient, the work was high quality, the communication was top notch and pleasant, and the price was reasonable. A+!
Phenomenal experience from start to finish. Nate came out to quote the installation of an EV charger. Nate (owner) showed up on time for the quote, quickly turned it around and got us on the schedule. The installer also arrived on time and was professional, fast and made the installation look easy. I also loved the text updates and online bill / pay. Highly recommend The Neighborhood Electrician!
Wonderful work with the nicest guys! They replaced various light fixtures, added a fan to replace an existing light fixture and wired and added some gorgeous wall sconces. Great work!!
Fantastic, have hired multiple times for lights, electrical outlets, etc.. Came and did the job in professional manner, gave great advice , and the work was more than quality. Reasonably priced and would recommended again.
Common questions
Straight answers about your next electrical project.
What does it cost to have an electrician come out?
Repair visits have a $99 dispatch fee, and it's waived if you move forward with the repair. Project estimates for panel upgrades, EV chargers, standby generators, hot tubs and remodels are free. You get an exact price before any work starts.
Can you come today?
We book the earliest open slot and keep a rapid-repair list for cancellations. For true emergencies (a burning smell, sparks, no power, or water in the panel) we offer an emergency visit for $329.
Should I get a generator interlock or a transfer switch?
An interlock ($1,100–1,700 typical) lets you safely power your home from a portable generator. A standby generator with an automatic transfer switch turns on by itself when the power goes out.
Do you do commercial electrical work?
Yes. We handle store and office lighting, parking-lot poles, tenant build-outs, signs and new circuits.
