Services for Bloomfield Hills Homes

What Bloomfield Hills homeowners call us for most

Bloomfield Hills homes bring us a lot of lighting work, from recessed and accent lighting to fixture replacements, along with new circuits for kitchens, offices and garages. Larger homes with several additions can hide wiring from different decades behind the same walls. We trace the circuits involved before recommending changes, so new lighting and new power work with what's already there.

Tell us what has changed and what you want your home to do. We’ll help you plan the next step.

Bloomfield Hills electrical repairs and new circuits planned around your home

Bloomfield Hills reviewers describe a tangled three-switch box sorted out quickly, clean work areas, and honest advice, including one homeowner who was told the problem was likely on the utility side. Those are individual experiences. They show why diagnosis comes before the sale. If something changed after a storm or utility work, mention it when you call.

Outstanding service. Organized, on time. I Chose this service based on reviews and I have no regrets. Cleaned every site they worked on and I will be hiring them for more work in the future.

Second time we have used Nate's crew. We had a giant rats nest (of wires) in a 3 switch box and one switch decided it was done turning on the lights. They figured it out really quickly, fixed it and were gone. Honestly embarrassed I didn't notice the issue, but either way it was taken care of!

Call Now
What does it cost to have an electrician come out?

Repair visits have a $99 dispatch fee, and it's waived if you move forward with the repair. Project estimates for panel upgrades, EV chargers, standby generators, hot tubs and remodels are free. You get an exact price before any work starts.

Can you come today?

We book the earliest open slot and keep a rapid-repair list for cancellations. For true emergencies (a burning smell, sparks, no power, or water in the panel) we offer an emergency visit for $329.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, fully licensed and insured. The Neighborhood Electrician has been owned and run by a Michigan Master Electrician since 1997. Our electricians are background-checked, and we never subcontract.

Can you give me a price over the phone?

Here are typical ranges: panel replacement $3,500–6,500, EV charger installation $1,300–2,100, generator interlock $1,100–1,700, and whole-house surge protection $650–1,300. Smaller repairs are priced on site, flat and upfront, because the cause decides the fix.
